Fastjet: chairman walks in disgrace it is almost out of cash just four months after £15 million placing

In late July of this year AIM listed basket case African airline FastJet raised £15.2 muillion at 50p. Wind forward to two days ago and the shares were just 18.5p but then started falling sharply to 16p last night and this morning came the disastrous admission. Naturally there is no insider dealing on the world's most successful growth market. The shares are now 14.5p and will sink lower as it has all gone horribly wrong.

The update is detailed and long but the bad news is saved for the end. Madagascar Oil (MOIL) is down to its last $1.3 million (cash minus trade payables) but owes $14 million. It gets worse.

Bulletin Board Moron of the Week Competition 14 – Afren, Quindell & Worthington only

Given the sheer insanity of the LSE Asylum Quindell (QPP) thread last week and forthcoming Worthington (WRN) events and the denial among Afren (AFR) shareholders the competition is back but is limited to just these three stocks. Afren is a basket case the other two are fraudulent basket cases. Update: The Deputy Sheriff of AIM insists that postings on Tern (TERN) are deranged enough to be included.
